"..Cassette is a song that was written for the woman that has stayed with me through so much uncertainty. I met Reilly when I was just entering the peak of my addiciton. It took many years for that peak to "PEAK" and die off. Although keeping her distance, Reilly put the dignity of her family at risk simply allowing me to come around. But she never saw it that way. So, I felt it was necessary to write the song that is quite literally a story of how our relationship started. From our nightly car dates, to sneaking me into her house (where I'd over sleep every time and they always knew I was there.) This song is both an apology and a thank you.. A recognition to the person that's helped life make so much sense."
